At 7:19pm on Tuesday, 10/22/2024 the Columbia Fire Department was dispatched to the area of 65 Route 6 for a school bus fire. Car 5 arrived at 7:25 reporting a fully involved bus that was also spreading to some brush.
Engine 105 arrived and stretched a 1.75” hose line. Tanker 105 nursed the first due engine while Engine 205 provided manpower. The Columbia Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
