COLUMBIA, CT - At 7:19 P.M. on Tuesday, October 22nd, the Columbia Fire Department was dispatched to the area of 65 Route 6 for a school bus fire. Car 5 arrived at 7:25 P.M., reporting a fully involved bus that was also spreading to some brush. Engine 105 arrived and stretched a one-and-three-quarter-inch hose line. Tanker 105 nursed the first due engine while Engine 205 provided manpower. The Columbia Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
