Dwelling Fire in Hereford Twp. Goes to Two Alarms

Hereford Twp., PA - On Sunday, October 20th at 2:11 P.M., Hereford Fire Co., along with several other fire companies, was dispatched to a dwelling fire at 1887 Tollgate Rd., in the township. Upon arrival, they had a dwellng with fire and smoke showing. A second-alarm was needed for additional engines and tankers for personnel and water. The fire was declared under control within 45 minutes. There were no injuries reported. The cause of the fire was from the owner burning trash that got out of control. Assisting Hereford Fire Co. was East Greenville, Pennsburg, Red Hill, Topton, Upper Milford, Milford, Siesholtzville, and Eastern Berks. Fire Police from the local fire companies were also on the scene.
