NEW WINDSOR, NY - Vails Gate FD responded to a report of a working truck fire on Jackson Ave., October 21st. Car 2 arrived and confirmed an active working truck fire. The driver of the vehicle was out of the truck when firefighters arrived. Vails Gate firefighters used hand lines to extinguish the fire while New Windsor Police blocked off the roadway. The fire is under investigation by the New Windsor PD.
