On Saturday October 14th 2023 at 3:00PM the North Sea Fire Department hosted a wet down for 5 new apparatus. The wet down was hosted at North Sea Firemen’s Field located on Noyac Road, Southampton, New York. The new apparatus were 2 chief cars, 2 engines, 1 fire police rig. Engine 1 (7-4-1) & Engine 3 (7-4-3) are twin Pierce Impel Engines, Fire Police 10 (7-4-10) is a Ford F550 Mini Rescue, and both chiefs vehicles are chevrolet pickup trucks. The Southampton Fire Department, Bridgehampton Fire Department, and Riverhead Fire Department were in attendance.
