The Seminole County Fire Department (SCFD) was honored to have the U.S. Fire Administrator Dr. Lori Moore-Merrell stop by Station 42 in Geneva to talk with the crews and SCFD Fire Chief Matt Kinley and Command Staff about flooding and response in the area to Hurricane Ian. Dr. Moore-Merrell spoke about FEMA’s response and support in the area and thanked the first responders for their work and dedication. Geneva was a highly flooded and evacuated area.
