On October 5, Waltham firefighters heard a loud crash in front of the Central fire station on Lexington st. When they walked out of the station, they saw that a dump truck had not put down his bucket and ripped a utility pole down sending live wires across the street. Firefighters secured the scene until the utility crews could repair the wires.
