On Sunday, September 29th 2024, the Flanders Fire Department hosted a fire prevention open house. The event ran from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Flanders Fire Department Headquarters. The event featured a wide spread of fire apparatus on display. Members of the department conducted live demonstrations such as Fire Extinguishers, Fire Sprinklers, Vehicle Extraction, and a Vehicle Fire. The Southampton Town Police were in attendance doing car seat safety checks. The open house was an excellent opportunity for the community to learn about the emergency services the Flanders Fire Department provides to each member of the community.
