On Saturday, September 21st 2024, the Sleepy Hollow Fire Department, Sleepy Hollow Ambulance Company, Sleepy Hollow Police Department hosted an emergency service day open house. The event ran from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Sleepy Hollow Fire Department. The event featured a wide spread of Fire/EMS/Police vehicles on display. The fire department conducted live demonstration donning fire gear, forcible entry, fire hose and fire extinguisher handling and a vehicle extrication drill. The Tarrytown Police Department, Mount Pleasant Police Department, New York State Troopers, Pocantico Hills Fire Department were also In attendance. The open house was an excellent opportunity for the community to learn about the emergency services the Sleepy Hollow Fire Department, Sleepy Hollow Police Department, and Sleepy Hollow Ambulance Company and their partners provides to each member of the community.
