TEANECK, NJ - A two-alarm basement fire was quickly extinguished before it could extent beyond a contents fire on September 23rd. Shortly before 4:00 A.M., Teaneck units were dispatched to 376 Warwick Ave. A second-alarm was sounded on arrival for heavy smoke issuing from the two-and-a-half-story frame dwelling. Two lines were stretched and one was put into operation and soon had the fire knocked. No injuries were reported. Hackensack and Englewood assisted at the scene.
