Shortly before 2pm on Thursday, September 10th, westside Baltimore County fire units were alerted for Fire Box 19-2, reporting a fire in a dormitory building at Ner Israel Rabbinical College at 400 Mt. Wilson Lane. First arriving Engine 2 from the Pikesville career station reported no evidence of a fire from a 2-story building with people evacuating. Tower 323's crew began a search and reported smoke in a room on the second floor, extinguishing a small fire in a bedroom air conditioning unit. Engine crews laid hose lines, truck company crews placed multiple ladders and firefighters worked on overhaul and checking for extension. Firefighters from BCoFD Stations 2, 18 & 19, the Pikesville Volunteer Fire Company, Owings Mills Volunteer Fire Company and Lutherville Volunteer Fire Company were on the scene. No injuries were reported and the fire is under investigation.
