Firefighters of the 2012 Missouri State Fair Volunteer Fire Department provided fair goers with a demonstration of vehicle extrication. Each day in addition to providing emergency services to the fair, firefighters provide public displays and education. The fire department is unique as all department members are volunteers from all over Missouri that provide services to the ten day fair. The department is a function of the Firefighters Association of Missouri.
