On August 2 at 11:00 p.m., Honey Brook Fire Co. #1 and EMS were dispatched to the 1000 block of S. Birdell Road in Honey Brook Township for a motor vehicle accident with reported entrapment. Rescue 33 arrived to find one vehicle overturned and confirmed the driver was trapped. Crews stabilized the vehicle, performed a roof flap and safely extricated the patient within minutes. EMS transported one patient to a local hospital. Fire Police units from Honey Brook (33) and Wagontown (35) closed S. Birdell Road for several hours until the roadway was cleared and reopened. Assistant 33 held S. Birdell Road Command.
