GILBERTSVILLE, PA - Shortly after 3:00 P.M. on August 21st, emergency services were dispatched to the intersection of Swamp Pike and N. Werstler Rd for the report of a motorcycle accident. Initial reports to 911 indicated the motorcycle operator was not wearing a helmet and unresponsive after the accident.
First arriving EMS personnel determined the motorcycle operator was deceased. Fire police were called in from surrounding jurisdictions to assist with traffic control. The accident is under investigation by law enforcement.
