Newburgh FD received a call from Dutchess County 911 Center of a boat in distress on the west shore of the Hudson River on August 13th.
Newburgh launched Marine One and was going south on the Hudson-when a State Trooper Marine Unit heard call and assisted the vessel. Newburgh
returned to the dock- Dutchess Sheriff Boat and State Trooper boat escorted boat and operator to the Newburgh Boat Launch. State Police were investigating
the equipment that the operator had on vessel.
