During a comparatively calm time for emergency activity, the Indiana Fire Association responded to nine service requests from Wednesday thru Friday, July 22–24.

A group home on North Clymer Avenue, ICTC, and Philadelphia Street were among the locations where crews responded to multiple fire alarms. Construction activity, malfunctioning detectors, and unintentional activation were identified as probable reasons.

A vehicle and motorcycle collision on Warren Road, fluid cleanup after a car accident, a natural gas odor in White Township, and a carbon monoxide alarm in Indiana Boro were among the other replies. Peoples Gas responded to the gas call regarding a minor leak at a meter connection.

Residents were urged by the government to change their carbon monoxide and smoke alarms every seven and ten years, respectively.
