Wrightsville, PA - Wrightsville Fire units responded to a reported special rescue at Susquehanna Riverlands State Park, locating a patient along a densely wooded trail experiencing a medical emergency.

Crews provided patient care and completed packaging using a stokes basket. Once the incident was confirmed to be a medical event, the response was scaled back. Personnel then carried the patient approximately a half mile to the trailhead, where the individual was transferred to a UTV for transport to awaiting EMS.

Units operated under command before clearing the scene, with mutual aid partners assisting throughout the incident.
