Trapped Driver Rescued in Rapid Extrication Operation

South Burlington, VT - South Burlington Fire Department IAFF Local 3671 firefighters responded to a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Kirby Road and Airport Parkway, where the operator was reported trapped inside the vehicle.
While en route, the response was upgraded to include additional resources for extrication. Upon arrival, crews quickly stabilized the vehicle and completed a safe extrication in a matter of minutes. The patient was then transferred to Ambulance 1 for evaluation and care.
