Brooksville, FL - The Hernando County Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire on Coventry Court in Weeki Wachee, where crews arrived to find a two-story residence heavily involved with fire extending to a neighboring home.

Firefighters acted quickly to contain and extinguish the fire in the adjacent structure, preventing further spread. Crews then conducted an extended fire attack on the primary residence, bringing the fire under control after sustained operations.

All occupants of the primary home were able to escape without injury, and the second structure was unoccupied. No firefighter injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
