On Sunday July 28th around 10:45, Firefighters responded to a brush fire in the De Luz area of Fallbrook. The fire was fought from the air and ground. A few structures were threatened and an evacuation order was given to some of the residents. Fixed wing and helicopters made numerous drops. The fire was held to 12 acres.
Cause of the fire remains under investigation.
There were no reports of injuries to damage to structures.
