MOUNT PLEASANT - On August 2, 2022, at 7:30pm Mount Pleasant (MPVFD) Firefighters were dispatched to a reported brush fire on Bradley Road near Hardaway Highway. This was a joint response with the City of Chattahoochee Fire Department. Upon arrival MPVFD personnel established command and reported that a couple of unattended piles were burning on the outer edge of the property with an estimated acre that was involved. Even with an earlier rain the fire managed to escape containment. Personnel extinguished the fires and returned to service.
