Newburgh FD responded to reported structure fire at 517 South Street on July 30. Units arrived at scene heavy fire in the basement.
Command requested second alarm sounded-West Point-Engine-Air Guard-Engine-Good Will-Engine to scene also Coldenham-Ladder
to scene. Fire advanced to attic-Command requested Police to scene vehicles trying to go west on South Street. Firefighters used Ladder
Truck to extend ladder to roof also used hand lines. Deputy Orange County Fire Coordinator 36-13 was at scene. Mobile Life was at scene
and were evaluating three firefighters. Cronomer Valley stood by at Public Safetey Building with Ladder-Castle Point with Engine. Fire is under
investigation.
