Reidsville, GA - The Reidsville Fire Department responded alongside the Tattnall County Fire Department, Glennville Fire Department, and Smith State Prison Fire Department to an excavator fire at the intersection of Slim Ray Road and Rudolph Flowers Road.

First-arriving units encountered a fully involved piece of heavy equipment and established command. Crews deployed approximately 500 feet of hose and utilized foam application to effectively suppress the fire.

The excavator was deemed a total loss, and no injuries were reported. The incident highlighted strong coordination and teamwork among all responding agencies.
