Allegheny, PA - The Gallatin Sunnyside Volunteer Fire Department responded on a first alarm assignment to a reported commercial building fire in the City of Monongahela.
Upon arrival, crews confirmed a working fire with smoke showing from the eaves of the roof. Engine 154 assumed second-due responsibilities, establishing a water supply by laying in from a hydrant to support the first-due engine.
Firefighters assisted with suppression and overhaul operations alongside mutual aid partners before clearing the scene after extended operations.
