This dwelling fire happened during a heavy rain storm less than a mile from the firehouse on July 20, 2024. According to neighbors, a woman was running around with a hammer breaking windows. Shortly after a loud explosion with heavy smoke from the front window of this dwelling. Firefighters were able to make a quick knock down of the fire. It was unsure if anyone was at home at the time of the fire. There was a car in the garage.
