Pennsburg---Tuesday, July 16, 6:40PM. Pennsburg Fire Co., along with several other fire companies from the Upper Perk Valley, were dispatched to a dwelling fire on the 600 block of Penn St. in the borough. It turned out to be an appliance fire. There were no injuries and no extension of fire inside the house. Assisting Pennsburg Fire Co. were East Greenville, Red Hill, Green Lane, Milford, and Trumbauersville fire companies. Also Pennsburg and East Greenville fire police and Upper Perk EMS were also on the scene.
