TIVOLI, NY - On July 5th, as strong storms passed across the area, the Tivoli Fire Department responded to a fire along train tracks. The fire, which was blazing between two railroad bridges in a location with restricted access, was quickly located by firefighters using the department's drone. After train travel was briefly stopped for safety, crews used hose lines to cross the tracks, established a water supply from the neighboring bay, and navigated flooded sections of Cruger Island Road.
