Placentia, CA - A young boy and father were able to escape heavy smoke produced by a kitchen fire in their apartment on Chapman Ave in the city of Placentia on July 1st at 9:00 A.M. The Fire Chief Pono VanGeison took time with the young boy who's puppy was rescued safely from the fire. The fire was quickly extinguished with no reported injuries.
