JERSEY CITY, NJ - One male resident of a Stegman St. dwelling, in Jersey City, died and a woman was injured when she jumped out of a second-story window, as flames consumed the wood-frame dwelling on the morning of July 10th. Firefighters arrived to find heavy fire consuming the structure. The man was located and removed from the home and taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to The Jersey Journal. The woman was evaluated for injuries that were not considered life-threatening. Flames did some damage to buildings on both sides of the burning building, which included a church.
