New Windsor FD responded to a reported apartment fire at Squire Village-40 Cedar Lane on July tenth. New Windsor Command requested
Vails Gate FD with Ladder Truck to scene. Firefighters used hand lines and tools to extinguish the fire and hand tools to pull apart apartment
walls and ceiling for extensions. Orange County Deputy Fire Coordinator 36-14 was at scene also New Windsor Police and EMS. Washingtonville
FD fast team was sent to scene also. New Windsor Command notified 911 Center to notify Red Cross for two families that needed shelter.
