Mutual Aid Units Respond to Fire Alarm Activation at Wells Village School

Pawlet, VT - The West Pawlet Volunteer Fire Department responded on automatic mutual aid with Wells Volunteer Fire Department to a fire alarm activation at Wells Village School.
Units responded and staged as first-arriving Wells crews investigated the source of the alarm. It was determined that the activation was caused by ongoing construction activity within the building, and no hazardous condition or fire was present.
Following confirmation of a non-emergency situation, all units were released from the scene and returned to service.
