Jamestown, RI - Jamestown Fire Department responded to a reported building fire on Cedar Hill Drive, with multiple callers reporting a vehicle fire inside a garage with extension into the structure. Upon arrival, command confirmed smoke showing and upgraded the incident, bringing in additional resources from North Kingstown.

Engine 2, operating as the first-due company, deployed attack lines to both the garage and the living space above. Crews quickly knocked down the fire and initiated aggressive overhaul to prevent further extension into the residence.

Firefighters remained on scene for an extended period to ensure complete extinguishment. One individual was evaluated for minor injuries and declined further medical transport.
