On July 2, the Bernardston Fire Department was called to a tree smoking on electrical lines on Page Road in Leyden.
After Car 1, Engine 2, and Tanker 1 were sent to the scene, workers secured the area while Eversource utility crews removed the tree and restored safe conditions.
