West Mifflin, Pa. — June 17 — At a commercial fire in a recycling business on Wednesday night, Citizen's Hose Co. No. 1 of Glassport was assisted by West Mifflin #3 Volunteer Fire Company, located at 3722 Rodeo Dr. As part of the mutual aid reaction, Tower 295, Engine 295, and Squad 295 were sent out.

Before the situation was brought under control, firefighters collaborated with other departments for several hours to support fire suppression and overhaul operations. Due to the abundance of flammable materials and concealed hot spots, recycling factory fires frequently necessitate prolonged procedures. During difficult commercial fire occurrences, the reaction demonstrated the importance of mutual help alliances.
