On June 22nd around 5:00pm, the western Salisbury Fire Company along with Eastern Salisbury, Lower Macungie and Cetronia were dispatched to the 1000 block of Hawthorne road in Salisbury Township for a dwelling fire, Lehigh County dispatch said they were receiving Numerous calls and then the police arrived on the scene and said he had a fully involved Dwelling with danger to exposures and the 2nd alarm was dispatched Rescue engine 31 arrived on the scene Laid a supply into the scene and a  blitz line was taken to the rear to knock down the fire and the deck gun was used to protect the exposures. No injuries were reported and all other adjacent structures were saved from damage. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
