Montvale, NJ - The Montvale Volunteer Fire Department responded to a three-vehicle crash with a rollover at the intersection of West Grand Avenue and DePiero Drive. Arriving police officers confirmed that one person was trapped inside the overturned vehicle.

Firefighters responded with the Chief, Deputy Chief, Rescue Pumper M1, and Pumper M3. Crews quickly extricated the driver by breaking the passenger-side window and unlocking the doors, allowing faster access to the patient than using hydraulic tools to cut through the vehicle.

Emergency crews remained on scene for approximately 90 minutes while the vehicle was recovered and the roadway was cleared.
