COLONIAL HEIGHTS,VA-Dunlop Fire station had some excitement recently when firefighters gathered for a special training opportunity.

Officials said each shift was training on the department’s new E-One Cyclone 95’ Platform Aerial. This training is supplied by the manufacturer as part of purchase price and NFPA standards associated with the purchase of new fire apparatus. Completing this training helps get firefighters get one step closer to the truck being placed in service.

This training helped to show the versatility of this new truck and members were quick to note speed differences between old and new,added safety, more capabilities, more efficient, and more user friendly than any truck the department has had in the past.
