Medway, MA - The Medway Fire Department recently responded to a collision involving a passenger vehicle and a 14-year-old e-bicyclist at the intersection of Village Street and Oakland Street.
Due to the severity of the injuries, Boston MedFlight transported the teen to a regional trauma center. The injuries were reported as significant but not life-threatening.
The incident serves as an important reminder that roads are shared by motorists, bicyclists, pedestrians, and other vulnerable users. As e-bikes become more common, staying alert—especially at intersections—can help prevent serious crashes.
