East Greenville - on Sunday, June 23, at 8:37 p.m., the East Greenville Fire Co. along with several other fire companies was dispatched to a dwelling fire at 134 Main St. On arrival, they had flames and smoke showing from  a second-story bedroom window. After entering, they had a mattress on fire. Any further extension was not available. Quick response from the first responders saved the fire from spreading through the dwelling and into the adjoining row homes. No injuries were reported. Assisting fire companies were Pennsburg, Red Hill, Green Lane, Hereford, and Milford. Upper Perk EMS along with East Greenville Borough police were on the scene. East Greenville Fire Police and Pennsburg Fire Police were also on the scene.
