On June 25th at 9:28 p.m., Rescue 33 was dispatched on the 1st alarm assignment assisting Company 69 (TVFD) for a reported garage fire in Elverson Borough. The Chester County Fire Board was receiving multiple calls about a garage fire in the 50 block of East Main Street, with callers stating flames 30’ - 40’ high. Chief 69 arrived first and confirmed a two-story, detached garage that was fully involved, requested the working fire dispatch and established command. Ladder 69 arrived next and stretched multiple handlines to extinguish the fire.

Rescue 33 was the 4th arriving unit and established RIT in the driveway. With crews making quick work of the fire, the RIT assignment was stood down a short time later, and Rescue 33 assisted with overhaul before clearing the scene.
