Hauppauge, NY - June 22, 2012, The Hauppauge fire department responded to a reported overturned vehicle on Veterans Memorial Highway and Lincoln Blvd. Arriving units confirmed a single vehicle accident with an overturned Dodge Durango.

Central Islip Hauppauge volunteer ambulance arrived on scene to treat the occupants of the vehicle, which sustained minor injuries. FD crews secured the vehicle and the roadway of debris.

FD units returned to service as EMS transported the injuried to an area hospital for further treatment. Suffolk Police remained on scene to have the vehicle removed from the roadway.
