Firefighters Knock Down Attic Fire in Bundy Park Area

Savannah, GA - Savannah Fire Department crews responded to a reported residential structure fire in the 0 block of Bundy Park after heavy smoke was observed coming from the attic.
Firefighters located the source of the smoke and began fire suppression operations shortly after arrival, successfully bringing water on the fire and preventing further extension within the home.
The fire was later declared extinguished, with no injuries reported. Two residents were displaced as a result of the incident while the home was assessed for damage and safety.
