Harmar Twp, Allegheny County – June 21, 2022 – At 5:55pm, firefighters were dispatched to the Wendy’s restaurant located along Freeport Road for a reported fire in the rear of the building. EMS arrived on-scene and reported a working with fire coming from the drive through window. Firefighters quickly arrived and found heavy smoke and fire coming from the rear of the building. Crews were able to knock down the bulk of the fire quickly and the fire was placed under control in about 30 minutes. No one was injured and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
