Hughestown Emergency Services Responds to Seven Calls in One Day

Hughestown Emergency Services personnel continued to be busy on May 21st as the department's paid Borough Driver attended to seven service requests during the day.


A structure fire, two car crashes, a brush fire, downed wires, and two medical situations were among the events, according to officials. The wide range of services offered by the department and the significance of keeping a staffed response capability were underscored by the fluctuating call volume.


Department heads thanked Manager Jones, Mayor Hoban, and Borough Council for their ongoing assistance in guaranteeing staffing of the apparatus. They also expressed gratitude to Dupont Hose Company members, officials, employees, and mutual assistance partners for their continued dedication and cooperation.
