Duxbury, MA - Today, at 5:22 pm the Regional Old Colony Communication Center dispatched Duxbury Car 3 and Duxbury Forestry 49 to 202 Meeting House Road following a blown transformer, which ignited the cables and the transformer itself. Concurrently, at 196 Pine Street, a wire fell onto the side of the road, which prompt a response from Duxbury Engine 2 and the Duxbury Police. Despite these incidents, traffic flow was not impacted, with disruptions only to power services.
