NEW SMYRNA BEACH, FL - On June 13th, Volusia County Hazardous Materials team responded to two separate incidents. The first call was for an anhydrous ammonia leak in New Smyrna Beach. Multiple units from Volusia County Fire Rescue and New Smyrna Beach Fire Department responded to the scene, which was under control in a few hours. Later that day, the team assisted Deltona Fire Department for a fuel offload with an overturned semi-truck on Interstate 4.
