NEWBURGH, NY - Good Will FD responded to a report of a motorcycle vs. vehicle MVA on State Route 17K and Unity Place on June 10th. Town of Newburgh and NYS police also responded. Town of Newburgh EMS requested a MedEvac launched on arrival while firefighters spread speedy dry on fluids on the roadway. Due to the Medevac's ETA being 40 minutes, Town of Newburgh EMS canceled it and transported the driver of the motorcycle to Montefiore-St. Luke's Hospital. Route 17K was closed during the accident investigation. New Windsor EMS also responded to the scene, and the Town of Newburgh Police Dept. is investigating the cause of the accident.
