Providence Firefighters were called to the area of 101 Plain Street late Friday Afternoon, 5/22/2020. Engine 9 arrived on scene to find the fire on the outskirts of a parking lot. After further evaluation Engine 9 called for a Ladder company and a Chief Officer due to the fire actually being an underground electrical box fire. The Chief Officer called for a first alarm assignment. National Grid was called to the scene to terminate the power, quickly after the fire was extinguished.
