First Female Firefighter of the Hopatcong F.D. Passes Away

Hopatcong, NJ - Patricia Lamont Brooks, the first female firefighter of the Hopatcong Hills Fire Company, passed away at her home in Pennsylvania in March. Pat was a graduate of the Sussex County Fire Academy with a Firefighter 1 and 2 rating, and a member of the Hopatcong Departmental Fire Auxiliary prior to going to the Academy. Pat was 77-years-old when she succumbed to the ravages of cancer. Rest easy Pat, we will take it from here.
