Melrose, FL - On Friday, May 8th, the Melrose Fire Department completed it’s fourth food drive in as many weeks at the Melrose Fire Station. Local food charities in Alachua County provided the food donations. Alachua County Fire Rescue assisted with the issuing of the donated food. Melrose firefighters and fire explorers have been able to provide food to over 200 individuals each week of the four weekly food drives.
