Newburgh FD responded to a fire in the wall at 47 Lander Street on May Fourth. Units arrived and found smoke from roof area in rear. Command requested Second
Alarm. Air Guard-West Point-Cronomer Valley FD to scene. Newburgh had multiple lines into business-fire extended up in ceiiling area. Firefighters on roof used hand
tools and K-12 saw to ventilate roof area. City/Newburgh Police and Empress EMS was at scene. Forty minnute status check fire knocked down-members over hauling
Orange County Deputy Fire Coordinator 36-12 was at scene. Fire under investigation.
